PART OF 'MADRID: MISIÓN REGIÓN'

Misión Región is a photographic project to portray the landscape of all the cities and villages in the Comunidad de Madrid.

I feel happy and honored to have been part of the 33 photographers who have carried out the project. During 5 months, each one of us has traveled through the 6 towns that we have been assigned. In my case, Aranjuez, Ciempozuelos, Titulcia, Torrejón de Velasco, Valdemoro and Villaconejos.

It has been a great personal and professional challenge, which has led me to know places that seemed close but unknown to me, and to meet wonderful people who with great enthusiasm, have discovered me their villages and landscapes.

The photographs have become part of the Regional Archive of the Comunidad de Madrid. In addition, an exhibition has just opened at El Águila exhibition hall (until May 7, 2023) and a catalog of the exhibition has been published.

Special thanks to @patrimoniocm , @losmodlin, @zona_basica and @monica_luengo57 for their vision, support and hard work during the project. Without them this initiative would not have been possible.
